Re: A Happy 50th to my best Dead friend |
Well, 6/16 was my biggest show of all times.
As most here know, I was hit by a bus 8 months beofre and this was my first set of shows after that happened, and they play the first "Cryptical" in 13 or so years. I had a complete stranger play the drums on my back while I was curled up in a ball and on Trip that changed my life.
It was weird, my buddy was there with his brother and each of us had our own special show. Phil's was 6/14, his bro 6/15 and mine the 16th.
It is by far the best 3 day run I ever saw.
I feel so blessed to have seen all the awesome shows at the Rocks and Greeks. I only missed one Rocks show and saw a lot of the Greeks.

Re: A Happy 50th to my best Dead friend |
I am on to the 16th.
2nd - very good , A personal WR and a fun LL ,sweet BP . Gotta listen four, five more times . Tricky show to judge , '85 in all it's glory . What a divisive year , reading by the reviews. Boy , some folks do not like this year - and to some these peaks , and there were plenty among the sloppiness , were never seen again.
Gotta love (all 2nd)
4-14-85
6-24-85
7-1-85
